Every lift part order starts with the model and serial tag. Here's where to find it, and how the families break down when the sticker's gone.
Reading the tag
Braun tags sit on the lift frame near the pump enclosure or on the vertical arm; Ricon tags are usually on the base frame or tower. The tag lists model (e.g. NL919IB, S5510) and serial — both matter, because part revisions track serial ranges.
BraunAbility families
- Millennium and Millennium-2 — the dominant public-transit series; dual vertical arms, most common on school and shuttle buses.
- Vista — the fold-out commercial series.
- NL/NCL series — "NL919", "NCL1000" style numbers; "NCL2" on a listing means the second-generation NCL.
- Century — the value line sharing many NL-family parts.
Ricon families
- S-Series / KlearVue — the clear-panel transit lifts (S2005, S5510 style).
- K-Series — the older workhorse series; many parts interchange with S-Series by serial range.
Old-to-new part numbers
Braun has renumbered many service parts (example: 33659KS → 407609AKS). If your manual lists a number that's no longer sold, we cross it — our catalog carries 800+ verified equivalents.
